Leading up to your holiday
We will share with you access to our house website Our website includes arrival instructions, local info and also information about the house.
We will also confirm the list of extras etc that you have chosen such as pool heating, air conditioning etc - as these need to be paid for upon arrival.
We will also share with you a link for registering yourself and your guests with the local council and to pay the local tourist tax. If you could fill this in prior to arriving, then when you arrive, you can get straight into your vacation.

Your villa will be ready from 3pm. Dominic will meet you upon your arrival to open the house for you and give you your keys. If you could whatsapp Dominic on the day of your arrival with an estimated time, then that would be great. And then 30 mins before arrival message him again to make sure he is there to meet you.

Tourist Tax & Guest Registration
The tourist tax in Italy, or tassa di soggiorno, is a tax imposed on visitors staying in paid accommodations such as hotels, bed & breakfasts, holiday rentals, and campsites. This tax is designed to fund tourism infrastructure, cultural heritage preservation, and environmental sustainability projects in cities and towns across the country. The aim is to ensure that popular tourist destinations can maintain their appeal while preserving the quality of life for residents.
Accommodation providers are also responsible for registering their guests upon arrival. This registration process involves collecting key details such as all guest’s full name and date of birth, Passport or ID information, the date of stay.
We will send you a link via a third party company called Chekin.com. The link allows you to automatically update all your information and pay the tourist tax. The tourist tax is Eur 2 per person per night and goes to the Castiglione Del Lago council for local amenities.
Upon arrival at the house
Upon arrival - its an easy three step process
1) You will be met at the house upon arrival by Dominic who will give you two sets of keys for the house for the week.
2) Dominic will check that the payment for the extra services has been made, and that you have completed the tourist information check-in information
3) Everyone can then start to relax and enjoy your holiday - there is a welcome hamper in the kitchen with some local produce and useful goods to get started.
